Foster Kitten Lily

This is Foster Kitten Lily. She showed up here a couple of weeks ago. She took up residence in our shed, and ate meals with the Garden Kitties. Well, with Sparkle. Huck wouldn’t go in the shed as long as she was there. Robin hoped she would go back to her home, but she stayed.

Lily REALLY likes humans, so ours gathered her up and took her to the vet. She checked out negative for all the kitty cooties, got her vaccinations, and got spayed last Friday. She’s been in the bathroom ever since. We have mostly not paid much attention to her.

Robin says she’s a lovely kitten.

Here’s a video, so you can see for yourself!

Lily is recovering well from her surgery. She didn’t eat much until her pain meds wore off, but now she’s enjoying Natural Balance kibbles and a variety of canned cat foods. (Our local pet store has some really great foods on sale for 25 cents per can!)

Lily is about 6 months old and weighs about 6 pounds. She has a heart-shaped nosey. Just for the record, underneath her white and tabby fur, she’s pink. If you adopt her, you’re going to want to know that some day, and now’s the time to make a note of it.

As you may recall, Karma is in charge of community service for our family, and she’s taking applications to adopt Lily.

If you know someone who would like to adopt this sweet, little kitten, please pass on this post. We hope Lily gets adopted soon, so we don’t have to make room for her in Kitten School. But, if we have to, now’s a decent time because Robin will be done with classes for the summer soon. Training Tuesday will happen regularly on Tuesdays once she’s really finished. We’re excited for that, and for finding Lily the best home for her!

If you’re interested in adopting Lily, please, email us at cheshirekitten AT sbcglobal DOT net. Thank you!

  1. I love babies with heart shaped nosies! What a sweetheart she is and as always how wonderful your family is for helping her get spiffed up so she can find a forever family of her own, I think orphaned kitties in the area hear through the meowvine that yours is the house to go to when in need of food, shelter, and care. Thank you for being such a great family who does their part to make a difference. We will share and cross our paws that Lily finds a home soon.
