When I was 1 month old my mom dropped me off at this house that had a big, flickering sign. She told me the sign said, “Free food and lodging.” I went under the house like she told me to. When I got hungry, I shouted really loud. It took a pretty long time, but the people started leaving food for me.
One of them would sit near me while I ate, and then she brought a feathery thing on a stick that I could play with. I really liked the brown skirt with the sequins. I finally let her touch me because I like that skirt.
You can learn more about my story, my family, and my thoughts on life in my blog.
I also wrote a book. You will want to read it. I think it will make you smile.
My human claims the copyright for all of my writing and for her photos that appear in my book and on my blog.
We have your book and have followed your blog for a few years after our angel sister Ms. Phoebe met Nutmeggy on Twitter. We love you guys and have enjoyed getting to know you and learn all about the many things you do to help Robin help animals in need. Your book is a wonderful glimpse in to your touching life story and journey learning to trust and thrive in the world, with lots of cute photos and funny moments along the way. We are so grateful to have you as our friend Chessie, you rock!

Horrors, my human brought home a dog today! I will be hiding in the basement until I see if it behaves. We had a nice dog Queenie who lived here but she got sick. I was sad when she left us. This new dog is a boy! Double yikes!
PS my favorite part in the book was when Karma suggested knitting. When my human knits I go crazy.
I’m glad you got to hear my book! I was glad when it was done because my human used to FLASH light in my eyes all the time!
I hope you will type more on my blog when your human isn’t looking. hee hee hee
My human read me your book. I live with other cats, too. I like to type on the computer when my human isn’t watching.
I signed up so I can follow your blog more regularly. You have an interesting life story too.
